The unbridled power of the Gay Rights Movement at Rutgers

The unbridled power of the Gay Rights Movement at Rutgers March 1, 2011

Rutgers University, in response to the sad case of a suicide last year, has decided to allow students of any gender to room together.  In order to mix things up, male and female students can share the same rooms, the same bathrooms, everything.  Apparently, it isn’t unique to Rutgers, with Columbia, University of Maryland, and George Washington University offering similar plans.  It figures.  There are few movements more powerful or influential than the modern GLBT rights movement.  I don’t know what it will look like ten years from now.  But I do know that, unless things change, it will look however the GLBT movement wants it to look.
