Art Journal page 10

I doubt anyone is going to notice, but I skipped page 9. It has a lot of texture, so I’m going to have to photograph it instead of scanning, but no worries, I had page 10 finished too. I’m really enjoying working with textures and mixed media. In this one I used pastel, acrylic, colored pencil, and home carved stamps.

Here’s what it says:
You pretend you speak
Snowflakes swam in the forest
The evening came
Round and round

Next I want to get up some of my paintings. It’s just finding the time for everything that is a challenge. I could paint and carve and create forever I think, but I need to fit it in around kids, and cooking (or uncooking, as I’m on a raw streak in this hot weather) cleaning, not to mention writing a midsummer rite, study program worksheets and all the other druid stuff I do. I wonder how people who post in their blog every day have the time?
