The theme for this month’s creative every day challenge is life. So I thought I’d share a couple of photos of what we’ve been doing in my life. These were taken at Lake Huron. There was a tiny stream flowing into the lake, and the girls were having a marvelous time making dams and exploring it. This past week we’ve been to both sides of the state, visiting Lake Huron and Lake Michigan, plus we picked u-pick strawberries and made jam in there somewhere. Summer has been in full swing.
On the artsy side of things, I’ve started a couple more shrines, one is about ancestors, and the other one is about nightmares. I’ll let you guess which is which.

I still have a lot of work to do on both of them.
I am working feverishly on getting my Etsy shop reopened, so hopefully that will happen very soon now. It’s the details that get me. Photos that make things look good are so much harder than they look! Still, I will persevere, and there shall be crafty goodness!
Wish me luck, I’m planning on taking some of my paintings to a local eatery to see if they will hang them up. Never having done something like that before, I am somewhat nervous. (translated, it is very scary indeed) I am aware that it’s not something to be scared of, nevertheless, I am. I just keep reminding myself that I am an artist, and selling art is what an artist does.
