Enjoying my harvests

Enjoying my harvests August 11, 2010
My daughter kindly held our heirloom tomato bounty so that I could photograph it today. Aren’t they beautiful? We’ve got Green Zebra, Brandywine, Yellow Peach and Early Girl and Roma tomatoes this year. Over at ChildWild Sierra does what she calls The Gratitude Project from the first Harvest Festival until the equinox. Every day she notes what she’s grateful for.
I’m grateful for:
heirloom tomatoes
my camera
music
and
my youngest daughter successfully using the potty!
(I know, TMI, sorry.)

Here’s that painting I told you about. The other one I finished. I’m not quite as happy with this one. But I still like it.

It’s called Bee’s Eye View
