So I am in love with this Flikr stream. You must go check it out. Now. So beautiful.
I’m continuing to be inspired by artists around me to create white on dark images. This time it’s rocks. I got out my white conte crayon, sharpened it on a random piece of sandpaper in my ArtDeskOfDoom and went to work on my rock collection (Doesn’t everyone have one?). Mine turned into little animals (big surprise right?) An alligator, a dragonfly, a hedgehog, a beetle, and an odd little face. I am feeling the need to leave them around town for people to find. I’ll let you know if I actually do it.
I adore making these little things. I feel so calm and happy.
