Matryoshka Dolls up in my Store!

They’re printed by hand, or actually by foot! I stood on each block as I printed the white satin in order to get a nice clear print. I started the whole process back in May when I came up with the sketch. I blogged about it here. It kind of amazes me that it’s taken 8 months to create them! I think they’re just so sweet though. And I have been dying for some Matryoshka goodness. I’d love to make some dishtowels out of her too, but I don’t know where to find high quality toweling.

Of course they’re printed with soy based ink, and I found the cutest little print on the back. They’re perfect for valentines gifts or just to sit on your bed or shelf and look adorable.

I only made 10 of them to sell, since my daughters confiscated two of them, so get them before they’re gone!
