Nameless Poem

Nameless Poem February 8, 2012

Phantom noise reverberates
Echoing off the silence

So enormously loud that bones could crack like rotten ice
Internal pressure like some strange translucent sea creature
Blinded by the dim light as it rises from dark obscurity
Falling upward into a thousand thousand countless stars
Expanding outward, each individual atom needs more room.
“It’s not you”, they say,
“It’s me.”
Pushing away into the infinite
Passing from one sort of shadow to another
It is the moment of transition from one form to another that almost destroys me.
