Buenos Aires, Aug. 03, 2006 (CNA) – The unborn child of handicapped woman who conceived through rape has been spared because he is too far developed for the abortion to be performed. The doctors who would have been tasked with administering the abortion refused to do so because technically it would have required “induced delivery.”

A Virus in the C of E?

The Church of England’s publishing arm has advised clergy to ignore Symantec threat warnings, after its Norton Antivirus product wrongly identified church software as spyware.Many Church of England vicars use a software tool called Visual Liturgy to plan, create and deliver church services. Four weeks ago, on Saturday, 8 July, Symantec issued a new virus definition which has had “a significant detrimental effect on Visual Liturgy,” according to Church House Publishing (CHP), the publishing arm of the Church of England.

No Mo Madonna …

Rome’s Catholic, Muslim and Jewish leaders have united to condemn pop star Madonna’s decision to stage a mock-crucifixion when she performs in the Italian capital on Sunday a stone’s throw away from Vatican City.

Cardinal Ersilio Tonino, speaking with the approval of Pope Benedict XVI said: “This time the limits have really been pushed too far.

“This concert is a blashphemous challenge to the faith and a profanation of the cross. She should be excommunicated.”
