A collection of daily thoughts

A collection of daily thoughts October 4, 2010

1,000.000 Neo-Pagans, we are many, we are strong, we have a voice, we are ready to make a difference at the polls, vote with our dollars, and stand up to discrimination. We are not only out of the broom closet, we are at the table demanding our rights.

Gratitude and compassion are the product of intent. To give and receive openly without expectation or agenda.

Once civil rights are gained, it is incumbent on us to stand guard in their defense. Nothing could be worse than apathy eroding all we have gained.

The quest for riches leads people to falsely believe they are poor.

I awoke wishing to manifest the divine, glimpsed out a window, OOPS to late.

We can not divorce belief and service. One can’t be authentic without the other

Living is harder when in service to others, yet it is happier and more meaningful.

A pessimist friend stated “you can only change the two square feet you are standing on”, to which I replied then carefully choose where you stand.

Withholding compassion from those you don’t know only leads to the inability to express compassion for those you do.

When power, phone and internet are removed from your home by the power of the elements, lessons in gratitude wash over your reality.

Each year, I know less, necessitating that I listen more

Passion fills the sails of my heart, yet as I have grown older, it is reason that sets the course.

I believe strongly, but should I act boldly in my conviction or simply be content in the beauty that surrounds me?
