New blog look

So, I have a new blog template. I bartered some editing for it. Isn’t it peaceful? Thanks to Chris and my friend Autumn for setting me up.

I’m kind of hoping that the nice fresh digs (and the new schedule I’ve worked out for the fall, which should give me more free evenings) will lend itself to more writing. Writing may not make me much (or any) money, and I don’t know whether it does anyone else any good, but…sometimes my mind feels like a bowl of tangled spaghetti, and when I write it pulls out individual strands and…never mind, that’s a horrible analogy. Anyway, writing helps me get all of my thinking out of my head, where it is frequently mysterious even to me, and out in the open where I can make sense of it and correct it if needed.

And even if I don’t wind up blogging more often, it is lovely to have a new set of duds on the ol’ girl. 🙂
