The trailer for ‘The Young Messiah’ released today, giving our first look at the film adaptation of Anne Rice’s Christ the Lord, Out of Egypt. The book is a fictional imagining of what the childhood of Jesus might have been like. The trailer looks engaging and impressive, but I’m curious to know if it will entice evangelical audiences. Regardless, it will provoke discussion and hopefully inspire audiences to check out the biblical account.
