In the light of Andrew Breitbart’s untimely demise, there has been a big stir about the elusive Obama “college” videos. Brietbart was known for inflating the truth to inflate his own ego, but could the videos show something new? Breitbart really made the videos seem like they would have conclusive evidence of President Obama’s radical past.

The videos that were released by Breitbart.com have been a big snooze to everyone. The videos were just another big race baiting let down. The videos show people supporting Professor Bell’s push to integrate Harvard. Which makes sense, because he was a trailblazer during the integration of the Ivy League.

There’s nothing in the videos to incriminate President Obama, but blogs like the Blaze, insist on painting this dead, first Black, tenured, Harvard Professor as a race-baiting bigot, and therefore Barack Obama must to, be a race-baiting bigot. It’s the Jeremiah Wright argument all over again. First they sullied the name of Wright, a preacher, in the name of Obama. Obama was (is) Christian, but that wasn’t (isn’t) good enough because he was a radical Black Christian with a phony theology. So they went after his pastor. This time they are willing to sully the name of a civil rights pioneer to get to Obama. Who are the real bad guys?

Jut like with Wright, conservatives are going far and wide to paint Derek Bell as a racist, in order to make President Obama look like a member of the Black Panther Party. However, it was okay for Ron Paul to be supported by the KKK. No complaints there.

Fighting for civil rights was the result of racism. Yes they were fighting for one race, out of a need to correct the social injustice of not being treated as equal humans. Had our country included Blacks and women as people from its inception, Blacks and women wouldn’t need any “special privileges” today.

Derek Bell was trying to become tenured at Harvard during the Civil Rights Movement. He was denied that luxury, until America started signing on to the concept of social injustice and civil rights. What do Conservatives expect to find in his past?

Also, I thought this was about President Obama. Why are they picking on the departed Derek Bell? It couldn’t possibly be because he’s black.
